Florida Endangered Species Network

The Florida Endangered Species Network (FESN) was formed in December, 2004 at an organizing meeting attended by 25 key leaders in the conservation and scientific communities.

The Network aims to bring greater cohesiveness, communication and support to endangered species activists at the local and state levels, while building the grassroots power needed to assist with federal Endangered Species Act initiatives and implementation.

FESN is currently undertaking a proactive, positive media campaign to raise public awareness of endangered species, their contribution to the richness and quality of Florida, and the constructive role of the conservationist in long-term community planning.

FESN thanks Defenders of Wildlife for providing the financial support to make this web site possible.
